| Nigel is the Managing Director of Quest for Nature. His interest in natural history started at an early age – keeping tadpoles in the dog’s drinking bowl at age four! The main focus then became birds, which progressed from studying them in the UK to travel all over the world. A degree in biology from the University of East Anglia, led to jobs in France and Shetland and then into research and teaching. In 1990 he became Managing Director of the birdwatching holiday company Ornitholidays. Offshoots of this company have been formed with Cruises for Nature (specialising in cruises for the naturalists and photographers) and Quest for Nature, catering for natural history holidays worldwide. He is very interested in Dragonflies and can boast of a garden pond with over 20 breeding species! |
