This tour will be a repeat of the highly successful holidays run from 2004 to 2009. The leader this year will be Dan Powell and he will be accompanied by Stoyan Beskov. We shall use a direct flight from London Heathrow to Sofia. We can expect to see about 40 dragonfly species, with an excellent supporting cast of butterflies and birds. The weather will be hot, typically in the 30’s C. Walking will be easy and mainly over short distances, though be prepared for some marshy ground. The photographic opportunities will be excellent for insects. We have also included the chance to see Brown Bears with a visit to some hides near Trigrad. The accommodation will be good and all rooms will have en suite facilities.
